Delete your account and data

You can ask us to delete your ArkSlate account and the personal data held with it at any time. There is no form to fight and no retention offer — email us and we will do it.

Which one are you?

You work for a business that uses ArkSlate

Your account was created by your employer, and the sales, customers and stock you can see belong to them rather than to you. We will delete your login and your own personal details — name, email, phone number, PIN, timesheet identity. The business's own records stay with the business, because they are its books and it is required to keep them.

Request deletion of my account

You own the business account

We will delete the whole account: every staff login, your catalogue, customers, orders, timesheets, documents and uploaded photos. This cannot be undone, so export anything you want to keep first — Reports, then Export — and tell us once you have.

Request deletion of our business account

What happens, and when

We confirm the request within one business day, and complete the deletion within 30 days. We will ask you to confirm from the email address on the account, because somebody else asking us to delete your login is not a request we should honour.

Deleted: your login and authentication records, your name, email, phone number and staff PIN, any photos you uploaded, and your messages with us. Backups age out on their own schedule and are overwritten within 35 days.

Kept, and why: completed sales, invoices and payment records, for as long as tax and accounting law requires us to hold them. Where we can, these are separated from you — an order stays, the customer it was attached to does not. We keep nothing else.

The full detail of what we collect and why is in our privacy policy. Questions before you decide: info@arkslate.com.
